Carol Hernandez, 62, of LaSalle, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Asta Care Center in Toluca. Mrs. Hernandez was born on March 14, 1952, in LaSalle to Melvin and Elsie (Hart) Stevens. She married Oscar Hernandez in Rockford, IL.
She was a homemaker. She is survived by three sons, Oscar, Joe, and Michael Hernandez all of LaSalle; one grandson, Lou Hernandez; three brothers, James (Joyce) Stevens of LaSalle, Gerald Stevens of LaSalle, and Ronald Stevens of LaSalle; four sisters, JoAnne McCullough of LaSalle, Donna Girard of Ottawa, Judy (Dale) Swiskoski of Peru, Cheryl Stevens of LaSalle and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Oscar Hernandez on February 3, 1984, a brother Melvin Stevens and 2 sisters Linda Stevens and Bonnie Stevens.
