Carol Hanson was surrounded by family when she passed quietly into heaven Monday July 1, 2019 after a prolonged battle with Dementia. She was a loving and loved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Sunday school teacher.
Carol was born December 5, 1941 in Townsend Montana, the fourth child and only daughter of Hugh and Verna Whitehead. She grew up on a dairy farm near Winston MT and graduated from Townsend High School.
On June 4, 1960, Carol married Stanley (Stan) Arthur Hanson in Helena Montana. The couple were married more than 49 years until Stan’s death in 2009.
