Carol Hampton, RN, passed away September 18, 2009, after a courageous battle with a reoccurrence of brain cancer. She was 48.
Carol was raised in Shelton, CT , where she attended St. Lawrence School, and graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in Trumbull , CT , where she was a member of the National Honor Society. In 1982 she received her Bachelors degree in nursing from the University of Connecticut.
Having survived a childhood brain tumor herself at the age of twelve, Carol was driven to help others and worked for many years as a neurology nurse at St. Raphael’s Hospital.
The family is grateful to Father Bob and Sister Marilyn and their wonderful, compassionate ministry at St.
