SOUTHBURY- Carol H. (Sytsma) Beun, 82, of Southbury, died peacefully at River Glen Health Center on Tuesday March 8, 2011, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Henry J.Beun.
Mrs. Beun was born April 25, 1928, daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Hutchinson) Sytsma. She has resided in Southbury for the past four years, previously living in Lakehurst, NJ. Mrs. Beun was a Town Clerk for the town of Franklin Lakes, NJ for fifteen years. She enjoyed the Heritage Village bible study group and was an avid music lover.
She leaves two sons, David H. Beun and his wife Gale of Shelton, CT, Thomas J. Beun and his wife Cheryl of Park City, UT and a daughter, Elaine Beun and her husband Willam Paley of W. Cornwall, CT. She also leaves nine grandchildren, David and his wife Jeannelle, Matt, Katy, Beth, Lindsey, David, Jr., Nicole and Jordan, Amanda and one great grandson, Quinlin and several nieces and nephews.
