Parsons, Carol
Passed away peacefully at age 82, on March 26, 2016 in her home surrounded by friends and family. Carol was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, William H Parsons, daughters Alison Nocks and Alyxx Berg, Lisa Paulding, Laura Parsons, Erica Parsons, and sons Peter Bergler, Stephen Parsons, and Bill Parsons.
Carol had her Masters degree in English Literature and began her career as a teacher, pioneering the field of special education where she taught and developed curriculum in Westchester County, NY. She then went on to become a business owner in the special events industry in Lexington, MA where she planned and provided dé©cor for exclusive functions and parties. She and Bill relocated to the Seattle, WA area in 1995 and finally to Fountain Hills, AZ in 2002.
Carol will be missed by the many lives she was able to touch through the Friends of the Hills, teaching mah-jongg at the Community Center, and at the 3 book clubs to which she belonged. Carol understood the meaning of true friendship and blessed and enriched each of us.
