Carol Faye Stocks, 87, passed away October 14, 2021 in South Ogden, Utah.  She was born May 25, 1934 to Henry Clayton Russ and Lena Faye Newton in Moultrie, Georgia.  

Throughout her life she lived in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, California, Nevada, Idaho, Indiana, Washington, Utah and Italy.  She graduated from Haines City High School in Haines City. Florida. 

Following High School, Carol entered and won several beauty pageants, crowned Miss Haines City, Miss Magnolia, and Hibiscus Queen.  She also worked as a model and an ambassador at Cypress Gardens in Florida.  

Carol married Bruce DelFaro Stocks in October 1956 in Long Beach, California.  Bruce preceded her in death on January 8, 1971.

After the passing of her husband Bruce, Carol, and her four children, moved to Burley Idaho, Bruce’s hometown.  She wanted them to be raised near Preston and Maurine Stocks, their loving grandparents. She was a loving mother and devoted herself to her children and grandchildren. She was also a loyal and caring friend. Carol was an elegant lady, always gracious, kind, generous, and loving, with a wonderful sense of humor.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.   

Carol was a remarkable woman and a talented artist.

Carol was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Carol is survived by her children, Bruce Stocks, Kevin Stocks, Gregory Stocks, and Stephanie Ahlstrom, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Bruce, mother Lena Pedersen, brother Donald Russ, and father Henry Russ.
