Carol Darlene Michelle Rainwater, 70, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016, at 7:02 p.m. at Visiting Nurse & Hospice, Fort Wayne, IN.
Carol was born March 24, 1945, in Baltimore, MD, to Harold and Constance (Warfield) Amundson. Her parents preceded her in death.
Carol was a 1963 graduate of Huntington Township High School. She attended Huntington College. She retired in sales and business and was also a substitute teacher.
Carol was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington County Literacy, served on the Cancer Service Board, Big Brothers & Sisters, various church boards, Hispanic Outreach, Victory Noll volunteer, Forks of the Wabash, and a Sigma Epsilon member.
Carol is survived by one son, James Scott Rainwater, Frankfort, IN. Three grandchildren, Autumn (fiancé’ Quinn Marcotte) Rainwater, Cincinnati, OH; Richard (Tracy) Rainwater, Lebanon, IN; and Rachael (fiancé’ Austin DeArmond) Rainwater, Muncie, IN, and one great grandchild, Jeydon Rainwater.
