Carol Leigh Cox, age 79, of Birmingham, passed away September 1, 2012. Mrs. Cox married May 15, 1954 to Dr. Walter H. Cox in Owosso, Michigan. Carol was an educator and administrative assistant who retired from UAB in 1998 in the Genetics Department. She was a member of Brookview Wesleyan Church in Irondale. Carol is preceded in death by her parents Fred A. and Leigh Green, siblings Don, Clifford, Jerry, Duane and Merlin Green and Betty Brunett.
