Carol Costello, age 70, of Milford and Sarasota, FL, and beloved wife to the late John H. Stowe, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center in Stratford. Born on June17, 1942 in Waterbury, CT, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Roberta Cory Costello. Carol graduated from St. Margaret’s School (Chase Collegiate) in Watertown. She earned a BA and an MA from Michigan State University and a sixth year certificate from Southern Conn. State University. Carol was employed by the Fairfield Public Schools where she taught English for 33 years.
She is survived by her brother, Charles R. Costello of Woodbridge, a niece, Jennifer Delcegno, a nephew Christopher Costello, two step-daughters, Alison Rubelmann and Janet Policano, three great nieces and three step-grandchildren.
