Carol Beck, 84, joined her husband Charles Beck Sr. and great granddaughter Regina Carter in heaven on February 24th with family by her side. Born July 8th, 1929 in Oak Park, IL. She is survived by her brother David (Vickie) Sandhop and her six children Laurie (Bryan) Trindal, Chuck Jr., Daniel, Paul, Dave (Debbie) Beck Sr., and Beverly Carter. Grandkids Brandy Tyner, Heather Beck, Chuck Beck III, Phillip (Carolyn) Carter, Michael Beck, Jessica Carter, David Beck II, Dustin Beck, Sarah Beck. Great grandkids; Jordan, Reese, Diesel, Channing, Leah, Ryleigh. Carol was a homemaker who lived in West Chicago for over 50 years. She loved her family and especially the smiles both her grandkids and great-grandkids offered. She was an avid reader of many mysteries and romance novels, often reading a book a day. She especially enjoyed canning goodies from her garden. Like her special recipe chili sauce, pickled beets, jam and jellies. In October she would start baking Christmas cookies. She has numerous friends across the country and never had a bad word to say about anybody. Later in life she had fun hitting slot machines. She took everything in stride and moved forward.
