She enjoyed her bridge games and playing golf.
Besides her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. McDowell, and a brother, James Beidler.
Surviving are her son, Richard C. McDowell Jr. and Yvonne along with two grandchildren, Abigail and Stephanie, four great-grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
