Mrs. Carol Andrews Brown, 92, formerly of Graham died at Pine Ridge Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Thomasville, NC on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Wilmot Ernest Brown, Jr. and the daughter of John Richard Andrews and Ella Mae McBane Andrews, both deceased. Mrs. Brown was a retired bookkeeper for the Burlington City School System. She was a member and former treasurer of the American Business Women’s Association. She was also a member of Graham Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder, choir member and member of the Women of the Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosemary Brown Faircloth and husband Darryl of Graham and Marilyn Oldham and husband Jeff of Greensboro; two sons, Richard V. Garner and wife Karen of Mt. Gilead and Eric Brown and wife Michelle of Oak Ridge; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by an infant son, Fredrick W. Brown; three brothers, Gordon R. Andrews, Alfred Wade Andrews and William E. “Bill” Andrews; and sister, Helen Isley.
