BENTONVILLE- Carol Alberta Spurgin, 90, passed away Wednesday November 14, 2018 at Henry Community Health in New Castle, Indiana. A daughter of the late Lloyd and Ethel (Christian) Eichacker, Alberta was born in Batesville, Indiana on April 29, 1928. She was a graduate of Bentonville High School. A homemaker, she lived most of her life and raised her children on the family farm northwest of Bentonville. She moved to Richmond in 2006 and has lived in New Castle for the past year.
