Carol A. Ryan, age 77, of Plymouth, passed away on Saturday, March 20th, at the BID Hospital in Plymouth. She was the devoted wife of 53 years to the late Paul M. Ryan. Loving mother of Timothy Ryan and his wife Leticia of Silver Spring, MD, and Michael Ryan and his wife Denise of Plymouth, MA. She was the adored grandmother of Julia and Connor Ryan of Maryland, and Erin and Molly Ryan of Plymouth. Carol is also survived by her sister Susan Fox of New Bedford.Carol was born in Revere MA, daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Stinchfield) Connors of Melrose, MA. She graduated from Revere High School and went on to make her career as an Office Manager. Following retirement, she worked as a justice of the peace, where she most enjoyed performing weddings. There was nothing Carol adored more than her grandchildren and seeing them active. Family vacations created some of Carol’s fondest memories. Just as she did with her own children, Carol rarely missed a sporting event, recital or school event for her grandchildren. Prior to his passing in 2018, Paul and Carol traveled extensively, going wherever and whenever the mood struck them.
