Carmine Fresa, 80, of Branford passed away Sept. 1, 2012 in YaleNew HavenHospital. He was the beloved husband of Maria DiCrosta Fresa. Mr. Fresa was born in Naples, Italy on July 14, 1932, son of the late Gennaro and Assunta Pirone Fresa. He came to this country after World War II. He was an avid Yankee fan. Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Anthony (Lisa) Fresa of Shelton, Carmine (Mary Rose) Fresa of Guilford, Daniel Fresa of North Branford and Steven (Beth) Fresa of Cromwell; two sisters, Nunzia Cervone & Maria Cantore, both of Naples, Italy; and five grandchildren, Alex, Marc, Carina & Matthew Fresa and Aris Walker. He was predeceased by 3 brothers, Joseph, Vito & Anthony Fresa and 2 sisters, Tina Cavallaro and Theresa Beermuender.
