Carmen Valadez de Samuido was born on July 17, 1929 in San Pedro, California. She was married to Gilbert Valadez in November 24, 1954 in Tucson, Arizona. Carmen had five children-Gilbert, Robert, Carmen, Jesse, and Victor Valadez. Family was the center of her life and way to worldview. Nothing was more important to Carmen than being a mother and grandmother, though she held many jobs from nursery worker to punch press operator. Carmen lived in Azusa, California since 1954 and she spent her final days at her home at 504 Renwick Road. Carmen will be missed by everyone who knew her, be that they are family, friends, or acquaintances. Her loving and giving nature were what made her such a strong person and our world is diminished by her absence. We love you, Carmen. Thank you for all you have given us and for being true to the people who loved you most.
