Born in Monteleone di Puglia, Italy on October 3. 1929, he was the oldest of four children (Lucia DiLiddo (Toronto), Tina Perna (deceased) and Antonio Prezioso (Brescia, Italy)) born to Francesco and Maria (Madalena) Prezioso. Carmen is survived by Julia, his beloved wife of fifty-seven years, and his two sons, Frank (Cathy) and Anthony (Ann Marie). He was a loving grandfather, affectionately known as “Nonno”, to Olivia, Alex, Aidan, Juliette, and Francesca. Carmen lived for his family and friends and was adored for his infectious smile, warm greetings, always helping hand and limitless hospitality. If you were at Carmen’s house, your glass was never empty. That was the kind of man he was. Always looking for ways to do for those he loved. Carmen epitomized the American Dream and his clarity of thought and focus on what was important and what was right were his strengths. He came to New York (via Canada) as a young man, married, started and ran a business for over fifty years, had a family and always prioritized time with his family and friends. Nothing brought Carmen more joy than the success of others, especially that of his sons who he cherished. If you met Carmen, you immediately liked him. If you knew Carmen, you loved and trusted him.
