Carmen Maria (Vega) Montes, age 79, of Milford, passed away on Tuesday May 22, 2007 at Milford Hospital. She was born on March 21, 1928 in Ciales, Puerto Rico to the late Paulino and Antonia (Santiago) Vega. Mrs. Montes was a homemaker and is the beloved wife of Amador Montes. She was the devoted mother of two sons Joseph A. Montes of Milford and Hector Montes of Bridgeport, two daughters Carmen Caudill of Southbury and Damary Hurley of Milford, a brother Manuel Vega of Bpt., 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
