Mrs. Carmen Elizabeth Brown Bass, 48, of Statesville, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016.
She was born on April 4, 1968 in Iredell County to Agnes Jane Webb and the late Gary Lee Brown.
Carmen was the first “Little Miss South Iredell” and a graduate of South Iredell High School. She was married to her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Dennis Bass, for 30 years.
As her family described her, she was “a firecracker with a heart of gold.” She dearly loved her family and they loved her.
Carmen was a hard worker who at an early age began her career to support her family. Over the years, she built a very successful real estate appraisal business and was well respected by her professional colleagues. She loved poetry and was known for using many poetical quotes. She loved to travel especially enjoying her trips to the beach and adored animals including her own dogs and cats.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dennis, of Statesville; daughter, Christina Bass of Statesville; mother, Agnes Jane Webb of Harmony; sister, Laury Brown of Statesville; brothers, Justin Brown of Fort Bliss, TX, David Perkins of Fayetteville and Mike Green of Seattle, WA; and stepmother, Ann Green of Waldport, OR.
