Carmen Aponte, 87 entered into eternal peace on Saturday October 22, 2022. She was born and raised in Vieques, Puerto Rico on July 29, 1935. Carmen was the daughter of the late Sofia Cardona and Pedro Villafane. Carmen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who had a heart of gold and will forever be in our hearts. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Raul Aponte to whom she was married for 57 years. She was a nurturing homemaker who took care of so many children throughout the years. If you knew her, you knew her hair had to be done every Saturday and don’t you dare touch her hair. She had a spunk like no other.
