Carmella “Millie” Lafollette,77,of 705 Calhoun St. Peru, died at 9:00 am March 26,2015 in OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Mrs. Lafollette was born in Cranston,RI on February 26,1938 to Carmello and Rosina (Morabito) Buccafurri. She worked at Westclox, Electric Utilities in LaSalle and then retired from Hobb’s in Spring Valley.
She is survived by three children, Lisa (Jerome) Pangrcic of Peru, Sonny (Bonnie) Lafollette of LaSalle and Kevin (Jill) Lafollette of Peoria; best friend and niece Rosemary Williams; grandchildren, Rachael(Brian)Sherman, Kevin(Debbie)Lafollette, Natalie(Andy)Schmollinger, Christine(Kris)Newton, Carmella “Ella” Lafollette, Ava and Kole Lafollette, Ashley and Sydney Heinz; great-grandchildren, Noah,Julie,Jonah and Gavin; one sister, Rosie(Art)Berkey of Peru and one brother Paul Buccafurri of Rhode Island; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Frances and Betty and brother Carmen”Junior”.
