Carmella Louise Tucci Blaise, age 83 of Milford widow of Leo Edward Blaise passed away peacefully on April 25, 2012. Born in Bridgeport on May 17, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Santo Pasquale Tucci and Josephine Garafalo Tucci. Carmella enjoyed cooking and baking and being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter Denise Blaise Sawicki and her husband James of Naugatuck, a son Michael Blaise and his wife Laureen of Woodbridge, two brothers William Tucci and his wife Dottie of Huntington and John Tucci of Shelton; four grandchildren Ryan, Arisen, Michelle, and Tara; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Fred, Frank, Louis, James, Eugene and Henry Tucci and sisters Margaret Maida and Theresa Rotini. The family would like to thank the staff of Lord Chamberlain and Affinity Care Hospice for their compassion and care.
