Carmela Rapuano (nee Circelli) 92, of Springfield, NJ, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, October 16, 2017. Born in San Bartolomeo in Galdo, Italy on May 24, 1925, she came to this country 81 years ago and settled in Millburn, NJ. She married her husband, Joseph, and moved to Springfield, NJ in 1950, where they raised their two children.
Carmela was a parishioner of St. James RC Church and was a retired cafeteria work from Summit High School. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph, and sister, Yolanda. Carmela is survived by her daughter Joann Coviello and her husband Daniel of Lavallette, NJ, her son Joseph and his wife Loretta of Old Bridge, NJ and two grandchildren, Daniel and Byran.
