Carmela R. Jarbeck, 69 of Wausau, WI., passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She is formerly of West Keansburg, NJ and Rockledge, Fl. Carmela was a loving mother and devoted grandmother who always went above and beyond for her children and grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, anything Disney, especially Tinkerbell, watching Hallmark movies, and rooting for her favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. She loved her work at Pick N’ Save grocery store and was a devoted attendant at Thrive Church in Wausau, WI. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and co-workers.
She is predeceased by her parents; Carmelo and Mary Susino and her husband Richard. Carmela is survived by her loving children; Bernadette LaFonte and fiancé Jeff Rice of Cocoa, Fl., Anthony LaFonte and wife Tina of Morganville, NJ, Nicholaus LaFonte and wife Laura of Wausau, WI, Jeanemarie Patrick of Edgewater Fl., 10 adoring grandchildren and her siblings; Frank Susino, Elena Martino, Maria Susino, Michele Susino and Stephen Susino.
