DURHAM, NC – Carlyle Franklin Baker, 87, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018.
Mr. Baker was born April 25, 1931 to the late John and Minnie Baker in Durham County, North Carolina. He was a US Army veteran and fought in the Korean war. Mr. Baker was employed as a production worker at Northern Telecom. He was a member of the Massey’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Baker enjoyed tending to his garden.
Mr. Baker is preceded in death by his parents, John and Minnie Baker and four brothers.
Mr. Baker is survived by his wife Dorothy Elliott Baker; a daughter, Sharon Adams (Neal); a grandson, Ryan Adams (Sarah). Honorary pallbearer is Bruce Elliott.
