Carlton “Gene” Thompson, age 75, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2014. Gene was born April 22, 1938, in Niceville, FL. to Christopher “Lum” and Crissie (Boone) Thompson. He was a Master Boat Builder and his passion in life was family and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thita, brothers, Eddie and Robert Thompson, and sister Merle Pratt. He is survived by his step-son, Bart (Pauline) Wood, sister-in-law, Jessie Thompson, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
