Carlos Herrera, Sr., passed away on April 27, 2021 at his home in Eunice, NM. He was born June 4th, 1947 in Coyame, MX to Arcadio and Roberta Herrera. He has 4 sisters and 1 brother. He married Louisa Gonzales on February 15, 1969 in Loving, NM. He worked pipeline for 50 years until his retirement in 2017. He enjoyed his moments with family and loved them dearly, especially his granddaughters and great-grandchildren. Carlos was preceded into death by his parents, Arcadio and Roberta, his son Carlos II and his brother-n-law Antonio Berumen.
Those to cherish his memory are his wife Louisa Gonzales Herrera, his daughter Sylvia Ruiz and husband Daniel Ruiz, his daughter Belinda Herrera and husband Margoby Lujan, and son Carlos Herrera III;
his 4 granddaughters, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grand baby on the way, his grandchildren Denisse and husband Gus Castaneda, Jasmine and husband Juan Zamora, Savannah Ruiz, Alyssa and Alexa Lujan; great-grandchildren Sean Ruiz, Daymian and Aaliyah Castaneda, Reyna and Devin Zamora; his 5 siblings Arbolinda Berumen, Delia and Sergio Contreras, Adela and Roberto Cueto, Joe and Sylvia Herrera, Armida and Eliodoro Larrea and numerous nephews and nieces.
