FILES, CARLOS “CARL” E.,
age 96, of the Huffman area passed away on August 17, 2013. He is a member of Huffman Baptist Church and a former member of Ruhama Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He spent most of his working career as a salesman and manager with the BF Goodrich Company in Talladega, Tuscaloosa, Birmingham and retired as a territory manager for the state of Alabama. He loved and was loved by his family. He maintained a perfect lawn and loved the game of golf. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth H. Files. He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Ann Griffin (Ken); grandchildren, Steve Griffin (Laura); Julie Adams (Matthew); and 5 great grandchildren.
