Carlos Arnold Call, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 28, 2022, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice and his loving family.
Carlos was born June 11, 1937, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Arnold Benegar Call and Beatrice Violet Monroe Call. He grew up and attended schools in Pocatello and graduated from Pocatello High School. Carlos also attended Idaho State University where he earned his Bachelors Degree. After high school, Carlos joined the National Guard and served for over 30 years, earning the ranking of Lieutenant Colonel.
On May 12, 1961, he married Mary Ellen Selders in the Idaho Falls Temple. Carlos and Mary made their home in Pocatello, Shelley, and Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Carlos is survived by his loving children, Carlene (Lex) Carter of Pingree, ID, Kirsten Morrow of Ammon, ID, Eric (Anona) Call of Shelley, ID, and Christopher (Celena) Call of Shelley, ID; two sisters, Violet (Bill) Beery of Idaho Falls, ID, and Donna (Richard) Atwood of Boise, ID; 18 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ellen Call; granddaughter, Morgan Taylor; and grandsons, Brandon Morrow and Don Carlos Carter.
