Carleton F. Kimber of Beverly, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday July 7, 2021 at the age of 82. Carleton, known as “Buck” was born on March 25, 1939. He graduated from Merchantville High School and earned a B.A. degree in Business from Rutgers University Camden.
He encouraged all of his grandchildren to enroll there, but none took his advice. Buck was married to Loretta Kimber for 32 years. Buck served in the National Guard of New Jersey from August 1965 to May 1969 as a second Lieutenant, Infantry. In 1995, he and his partners started Integrity Medical Devices Inc., first located in Elwood, NJ and transitioned to Hammonton, NJ as the business grew. He was the proud President and CEO of the business. Buck would always say this business was his “life”.
Buck loved to sail his boat named “Aries” in the Delaware River, Chesapeake Bay, and Long Beach Island. He enjoyed traveling and vacationing to various countries and cites, including Italy, England, and Ireland. His favorite vacation spot of all was Long Beach Island. In Buck’s down time, he could be found with his cats Quincy and Maya watching the Philadelphia Phillies. Buck was known for his sense of humor and making people laugh.
He is survived by his two sons Chip Kimber of Medford, NJ and Christopher (Christine) Kimber of Haddon Township, NJ, as well as two step-sons Dr. Mark (Candace) Ghaul of Media, PA and Eric (Natalie) Ghaul of Burlington Township, NJ. He had nine grandchildren Julia and Ethan Kimber, Dr. William, Jonathan, Jacob, Julie, Samantha, Elisabeth, and Jessica Ghaul. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Carleton C. Kimber and Francis Welch Kimber West, and brother Ronald Kimber.
