Carleton Eugene Sorensen, 71, of Ft. Walton Beach, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009 at his residence with his family at his side.
Carl was born October 11, 1937 in Nunica, Michigan, a son of the late Frederick and Isabel Sorensen.
Preceding him in death are his parents, two brothers: Frederick Sorensen and Richard Sorensen, and one sister: Patricia Jope.
Survivors include his beloved wife of almost 50 years: Jean Hargreaves Sorensen of Ft. Walton Beach, one son: Glyn Sorensen and his wife, Lawry of Memphis, TN, one daughter: Dianne Barcelona and her husband, Philip of Ft. Walton Beach, and two grandsons: Nicholas and Philip Barcelona.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Covenant Hospice and to the Emerald Coast Cancer Center for the excellent and loving care given to Carl.
