One of God’s great soldiers, Carla Myers Michelsen, 71, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on November 12, 2015. Her passion was gardening and decorating her home, making it a haven for friends and family. She was a great friend to all she met. Many lives have been touched by her love and generosity. She always had time to listen to others.
Carla was born and raised in Rome, Georgia, and moved to Jacksonville in her teens.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Holland; mother, Martha Holland; sister, Harriet Wilhoit; and son, David Myers.
