Carla Noorlander
1939-2021
Carla passed away the evening of September 7th, 2021, at the age of 82.
Born in Idaho to Van and Lena Christensen, Carla was one of three children. She later came to Utah where she met John Noorlander Jr. in 1956, and they married in 1957. Together they had four sons – Kenneth, Randal, Gary, and Derik – and being a mother was Carla’s most treasured accomplishment.
Carla had several jobs in the Ogden area before beginning her valued career with the IRS as a program assistant for the information systems and cyber security divisions, where she retired.
Carla is preceded in death by her husband John, sister Vanene (Dave), and sons Randal (Lori) and Gary (Vicky). She is survived by her brother Neil (Doris), sons Kenneth (Diana) and Derik (Shelley), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
