Carl W. Pullen, 92, formerly of Ray Road, New Haven, passed away Jan. 27, 2009 in St. Raphael’s Hospital. He was the husband of the late Ruby D. Turner Pullen. Born in Bedford, VA. Aug. 15, 1916, he was the son of the late Rev. James Pullen & Mary Hobson Pullen. At one time, he was a molder and union steward at Bridgeport Brass. At various times, he was a truck driver, shoemaker, school crossing guard for the New Haven of Education, and security guard at Yale University.
