Carl Vespa, 87, died peacefully on Thursday, March 8, at JourneyCare Hospice/Rush, where he was embraced by the loving care of staff, family and friends. Carl was born in Joliet, IL on July 14, 1930. He lived the majority of his life in Chicago, where he was a graduate of Bowen High School. He attended the University of Chicago, where he studied physics, and received his College AB in 1949.
