Muncie-Carl V.
He was born in Shirley, Tennessee, on August 6, 1929, the son of Carl Woodard and Roxie Tinch Wright. He later moved to Muncie, Indiana in 1950.
He served in the US Army and fought in the Korean War, where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He then retired from Indiana Steel and Wire. He was a member of Full Gospel Lighthouse Tabernacle in Dunkirk.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jerry Lee Wright; three sisters, Gladiola Jones, Violet Parish and Pansy Kairchner; and one special nephew, Stuart Stephens.
