Born, December 23, 1912 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Harry Clayton and Minnie Gertrude Pittsnogle Springer.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Mildred Stine Springer and his second wife Jane Elenora Sterling Springer in 2006.
He was employed by Manbeck Bread Co. Hagerstown, MD for 45 years until his retirement.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII.
He was a member of First Baptist Church Hagerstown, MD
He was a member of Gideons International, Morris Frock Post #42 American Legion Hagerstown, MD and an active member at the Homewood Chapel Martinsburg, PA.
