Anderson, Carl Owen passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014, at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Age 69. Carl was born in Plainwell on September 18, 1944, the son of the late George and Camilla Allen Anderson.
He was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He was employed by the City of Kalamazoo Waste Water Services. He loved to do yard work and spend time with his dogs, Molly and Ruby.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Victoria Santantonio Anderson; his son, Andrew Anderson, and his granddaughter, Emily Anderson of Bangor; his step-mother, Alice Anderson; one sister-in-law, Anna Jack Ginther of Kalamazoo; three brothers-in-law, William Ruth Longest of Kalamazoo, Jack Bowker and Chuck Nichols; special nieces, Wendy Ginther, Sara Van Dyk and Kelly Longest; many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Bonita Johnson; two sisters-in-law, Mary Nichols and Clara Bowker; several step-brothers and step-sisters; and special friends, Kathy and Marcia.
