Carl L. Tatman, 77, of Corpus Christi, TX, fomerly of Brookston, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in Lafayette.
He was born January 26, 1944, in Brookston to the late Charles Eugene and Ruth (Disinger) Tatman. Carl attended Brookston High School.
Before retiring in 2020, Carl worked as RV park manager at Colonial Del Rey in Corpus Christi, TX. Prior to that he held several positions including Terra Tire Salesman at McCord Auto Supply in Monticello, Parts Manager at Bartlett Ford and also worked at Hughes Feed Store in Brookston.
Carl enjoyed playing cards, as well as teaching his grandchildren to play. In 1972, he won the Top Notch Euchre Tournament with Glen Stover. He also enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grand children.
He is survived by his son, Troy (Amber) Tatman of Fisher; and his daughters, Chris (Paul) Isaacs of Lafayette and Cheri Cavilear of West Lafayette; a brother, Gene Tatman of Brookston; sister, Kathleen (Ralph) Martin of Flora; and nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Helen Jean and Linda Lue; and brothers, George and Richard.
