ATTRUIA, CARL FRANCIS. JR. , of Rancho Cucamonga, CA died suddenly on January 15, 2015. Carl was born on August 28, 1939 in New Haven, CT.
Carl graduated from West Haven High School in 1957. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1958-1960 aboard the USS Wadleigh during the Lebanon crisis.
After graduation from the Connecticut School of Electronics, Carl began a 38 year career with the Federal Government at various Air Force Bases in California as a logistics analyst.
Carl loved Italian cooking and baking, old Western movies, and his red Corvette. Car was remarkably generous and kind to all. He especially loved his family, children, grandchildren , and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Carl was preceded in death by his father, Carl F. Attruia, mother, Jennie M. Attruia, and brother in law, Louis DeMattia. Carl is survived by his son Carl (C.J.) (Dawn) Attruia, Jr. ; grandsons, Eli and Gabriel of Wayland, MI; son, Christopher (Mia) Attruia; grandchildren, Madelyn, Christopher, Jr. and Malia of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; sister, Theresa DeMattia, of Orange, CT; sister Amalia (Molly) Attruia-Hartwell of Milford, CT; nephews , John (Tanya) DeMattia and David (Denise) DeMattia and their children.
