Carl Edwin Isenhower, May 20, 1944 – May 3, 2018, a resident of Gisela, AZ passed away peacefully in his home of a pulmonary embolism. He was a retired, new construction plumber and for the last fifteen years, a Walmart Associate. Carl was born in Pearsall, TX and raised in Houston. He was one of three children born to the late Veronica and Samuel Isenhower and was married to Theresa Murski for 47 years, retiring to Gisela, AZ in 2002. Widowed in 2012, Carl was re-married in May 2015 to his surviving spouse Jackie Harper-Isenhower.
Carl’s brother Samuel preceded him in death. He will forever be remembered by his brother Jim Cordiel and sister Alice Ferrell; his loving children Renee Davis (Rich), Mark Walentiny (Viviane), Dorinda Isenhower, and Jennifer DeWitt (Tony); his treasured grandchildren Cory (Tasha) and Troy Davis, Keith Walentiny, Danielle Sarceda (Matthew), Jennifer Fisher, Jason Isenhower, and Austen and Cole DeWitt; and, great-grandchildren Blaine and Treydon Fisher, Levi Davis, and Sophia and Easton Sarceda. He also will be lovingly remembered by many friends including his best friend Roger Hammond, and family including Joe and Kathryn Mobley, his brother- and sister-in-law.
Carl loved recording and listening to classic country music, cheering on the Arizona Cardinals, exploring the desert in his Rhino, having fun with friends, and being with his family. One of his proudest accomplishments was his leadership of the Girls Softball Association in Corona, CA. In recognition of his many contributions, the softball field was later renamed Isenhower Field.
