Anderson – Carl E. Dailey, 73, Anderson, died June 6, 2002 at Countryside Manor, Anderson after an extended illness. He was born March 23, 1929 in Chesterfield, Indiana, and resided in Anderson. He was a lifelong resident of this area. He retired from General Motors.

He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Gospel Light Church, Anderson Chapel. He was a former litlle league coach in Anderson. He was a good family man and a good christian man.

He is survived by his wife Anna Delong Dailey of Anderson; a daughter Beth Ann & husband Scott Wouters of Cincinnati, OH; three step-daughters Mary & husband Rick Cronk, Teresa Dodson and Vicky McKenney all of Anderson; a brother Wayne & wife Pava Dailey of Maine; a sister Martha Dailey-Garman; seven grandchildren Ian Wouters, Eli Wouters, Angie Pruitt, Michelle Dodson, Paul Dodson, Johnny Ashby and Robby McKenney; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his first wife Bonnie Dailey, his mother Pauline Dailey Cooper and his father Clarence Dailey.
