Carl D. Hess, 83, of Allentown, died Sunday, December 13, 2015, at Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown. Born in Macungie, He was the son of the late Abraham Hess and the late Emma (Schmoyer) Hess. Carl was a graduate of Emmaus High School, and Muhlenberg College, where he was a business major. He honorably served his country in the US Army during Korea. Carl worked as a Branch Manager in various states for Chrysler First. He had also worked at Networking Systems and Finance Departments for Nations Credit, for 62 years, until retiring. He was an active member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church where he served on various committees, and enjoyed sharing his lovely voice in the choir. He was active in the Allentown Lions Club, where he served 2 terms as President. Survivors: In addition to his wife of 60 years Gloria; daughter Victoria; sister Pauline. He was predeceased by his sisters Joyce, Lucille, and Kathleen.
