Mr. Bronzynski died on May 19, 2015, at Hillcrest Care Center in Laurel.
Carl was born on February 26, 1918, the son of Albert and Louise (Dahm) Bronzynski on a farm west of Winside. He attended school District #16 and graduated from Winside High School in 1934, at the age of sixteen.
On September 6, 1939, Carl married Mabel Gamble at the Wayne Methodist church parsonage. They started farming west of Winside.
Carl served on the school board of District #16 for many years, was a 4H leader and a member of the Winside Methodist Church.
Carl and Mabel retired from farming in 1968 and moved to Norfolk. He was then employed at Roehr Products Company of Norfolk, which later became Sherwood Medical Company until his final retirement in 1985.
He enjoyed square dancing for many years. He also enjoyed working in his lawn and garden and doing woodworking.
His grandchildren and great grandchildren were a great joy to him.
Carl is survived by his son and his wife, Donald and Evelyn Bronzynski, of Norfolk, and his daughter Carol Heitman of Laurel; his grandchildren: Todd and Sheila Heitman, of South Sioux City, NE, Troy and Dena Heitman, of Sergeant Bluff, IA; Lori Bronzynski, of Lincoln, Greg and Jayne Bronzynski, Norfolk, and Lacey and Jesse Roberts, of Norfolk; great grandchildren: Justin Heitman, Tyler (Michaela) Heitman, Alexa Heitman, Douglas Bronzynski , Samuel Bronzynski, Tyson Roberts, Trey Roberts and Colton Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, his parents, 2 brothers, Arthur and Raymond, 1 sister, Clara Krajeski and her son-in-law, Roger Heitman.
