On March 24, 2021 Carl Anthony “Tony” Martinez, age 63, passed away at the Gilchrist facility in Towson, MD at 1:15 pm. He was a lifelong mechanic and worked for multiple companies including Meineke and Pep Boys where his co-workers valued his knowledge. Tony was also a stocker for various companies including ValuFood, Safeway, and Target. Tony lived in Randallstown when he met his wife, Sandy Martinez, while working at the Randallstown branch of ValuFood. He loved watching the History Channel, Orioles baseball, Nascar, and the Ravens. He also enjoyed working in the garden.
He is the devoted husband of Sandy: beloved father of Brittany; loving step-dad of Jason and Brandon; cherished “Pop-Pop Tony” of McKenzie and Brooklyn; dear son of Doris and the late Jerry Martinez; loving step-son of Jim Mitchell; nephew of Karen Reed. Also survived by seven siblings, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
