Carl Andrew “Andy†Turner, Sr. 21, of 804 Holland Rd., Danville died Sunday, April 18, 2010 in Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC from injuries sustained as a result of an automobile accident. Born October 28, 1988 in Danville, he was the son of Carl B. Turner and Bobbi Jean Strader of Danville. Andy was a welder, an avid weight lifter and loved softball, football, snow boarding and four wheeling . He was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Carl Andrew Turner, Jr. of Danville; a sister, Stephanie T. Cook of Danville , five cousins, George Mowbray, David Webb, William Webb, Lamberth Powell, and Mariah Sells; two nephews, Jacob Stokes and Cameron Cook; a niece Carleigh Stokes, his paternal grandmother, Emma A. Turner his maternal grandfather, Bobby G. Strader and his son’s mother, Lacy Dudley all of Danville. Andy was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Carl A. Turner and his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Strader.
