Carl A. Nobile of Westminster, formerly lived in Eldersburg, MD for 32 years, died September 12, 2015.
Born November 11, 1921 in Kaylor, PA, he was the son of Joseph and Maria Nobile, husband to Mary Clise Nobile for 59 years, father to Carl J. and David K., and Grandson Nicholas E. Nobile.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, having served from 1942 to 1945 most of the time overseas in Africa and Europe, he was also a graduate of Strayer Business College in Baltimore.
He was a safety specialist for the U.S. Post Office in Baltimore and retired after 32 years of service.
He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church for 50 years.
A longtime member of the Masonic family, including Eastern Star, Scottish Rite and Shriners, he also assisted in Order of DeMolay and Boy Scouting activities.
In faith of everlasting life- as a music lover, it is asserted that Carl still enjoys a range of music from folk to the classics? He was a singer in church choirs from 1946 onward including several Lutheran churches.
He was a life member of the Brady’s Bend, PA Historical Society.
Being a resident of Carroll Lutheran Village, he sang in the choir and Quartet for years. He served as Lector and acolyte for the Church services. He served on committees and participated in other activities there.
He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
