Cari Brager, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 1, 2016 at her home in Shadow Lake Village. She was born in Havana, Cuba. Cari lived in Red Bank before moving to Shadow Lake Village in 1975 where she had many friends.

She is survived by her daughter Ali Ross-Wilharm and husband, Marshall Wilharm, her son Jerry Brager and his wife Barbara and her four grandchildren Adam Brager, David Ross and his wife Alison Sergeant Ross, Christina Wilharm and Natalie Lightner. Cari was an avid golfer, loved the competition and played a round of golf the day before she passed. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, was a great cook, she loved to read, to garden and to knit. Over the last few years her knitting became a passion for the newborn children by knitting hats and blankets for Jersey Shore’s Children’s Hospital and Riverview Medical Centers’ NICU units. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
