Carder Lee “Leonard” Hascall, 65 of Wilder, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at a Caldwell hospital of natural causes.
Leonard was born December 1, 1946 in Forest Grove, Oregon, the son of Leslie E. and Dorothy Preece Hascall. He was raised in Oregon and Alaska. He entered the U.S Navy in 1968 and was honorably discharged in 1972. He served in Viet Nam.
He became an electronics repairman and owned an operated his own business, Nampa TV. He later sold that business and then began working for Telco of Boise until the time of his death.
Leonard married Leslie Wright March 23, 2007 in Caldwell.
Leonard loved playing pool, cats, fishing and poker and enjoyed playing golf, and quilting. He was a competitive man in all that he did. In his early days he also was a motocross racer for Kawasaki motorcycles.
Leonard had been a member of the Nampa Elks Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Leslie Wright of Wilder; a daughter, Kimberly Norris of Augusta, Georgia; step-daughter, Heather Benedict; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and two brothers, Scott Bristow and Tracy Bristow.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
