Cara M. Kirkham, 56, of Jacksonville, IL, died Monday, Jan.31, 2022, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 19, 1965, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Donald Glenn and Ruth A. Goldsborough Evans. She married Desmond C. “Des” Kirkham, Jr. on July 23, 1983, in Jacksonville and he survives.
She is also survived by two sons, Steven Andrew “Drew” Kirkham and Tyler Justin Kirkham, both of Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Steven L. Evans.
Mrs. Kirkham worked as a bookkeeper for Wareco for many years. She enjoyed her hobbies, travelling, shopping, and eating good food. Cara especially loved and had a soft spot for her rescue pets.
